Symptoms Of A Leaky Gut

Leaky Gut Syndrome Causes Symptoms Risk Factors How To Reverse Leaky Gut

Thanks for checking out this comprehensivetutorial today. In this tutorial, I'm going to talk about leaky gut syndrome. It's a functionalcomplaint that's often been maligned by medical practitioners. Before I delve into it, I justwant to read out an email I got from a firstyear medical student from America regarding leakygut. I wrote an article on EricBakker regardingleaky gut, and this is what this particular student wrote. She says, quot;Mr. Bakker, leakygut syndrome is pure naturopathic nonsense. It's just like adrenal fatigue, just anotherfictitious manmade disease. Many people confuse adrenal fatigue with Addison's disease, whichis an actual, real and diagnosable medical

condition when you don't make enough cortisolin your glands. This can only be diagnosed by your real , and various tests areneeded to diagnose this disease. Candida is bullshit, too. It is possible to have a fullbody fungal infection, but you'd be in the intensive care unit nearly dead.' Signed,Miss so and so. This is a very interesting email from a person, obviously a firstyear medical student, so I'll forgive her for her ignorance. When Iwas a medical student, I was quite ignorant, too, and had a lot of strong opinions aboutthings which I know now 27 years later I've got completely different ideas about. It'sinteresting and I think back at my dad who

was a very pragmatic man, and Dad said thatopinions are like bowel motions. We all have them from time to time. Sometimes some peoplehave more or less. Sometimes people are full of these things and just pass out bowel motionsall the time. Almost like verbal diarrhea. And that's what we've got in this case. Aperson with verbal diarrhea. So I'll forgive this person, of course, because she's a medicalstudent. And if she happens to see this YouTube clip, I welcome her to contact me when she'squalified and maybe 10 years down the track when she's settled into a practice a bit moreand overcome a little bit of that verbal diarrhea. Let's now have a look at leaky gut syndrome, what the condition really entails. Leaky gut

syndrome is not a fictitious disease. In fact, there are many different research papers in mainstream medical journals that have beenwritten about intestinal permeability. It's certainly not fictitious by any means. Whenwe examine the small intestine, there are three sections to the small intestine. Thefirst part, which connects up to the stomach, is called the duodenum. And in America, Ibelieve they call it the duodenum. The duodenum contains quite a lot of intense solar activitythere in terms of digestion. In fact, there's a very small section at the beginning of theduodenum which is about 75 to 90 mils that contains most of the person's immune functionactivity of the whole digestive system. We're

talking about probably three or four inchesof bowel, which is impacted with an incredible amount of immune cells. It's estimated that about 60 percent of a person's immune activity is located in thesmall intestine, and probably three quarters of that is in the first three to four inchesof that section of small intestine. If we examine the small intestine and open it up,it has a surface area of about a tennis court. It's remarkable. You may see some pictureson the internet of what we call villi and microvilli. Villi are basically, I'll drawa picture for you. They're small, funny shaped objects like this. That's a villi and a villilooks a little bit like that. Microvilli are

basically the little projections that runoff the villi. You can see those. If you have a look closer, we've actually got even smallervilli that run off those. The point I'm making here is the surface area is dramatically increasedbecause we've got a huge amount of digestive area that we're looking at.If you look at the microvilli, little fingerlike projections, there's basically one cell layerthat goes around the microvilli. These cellular junctions in a healthy person are very tightand wellcontrolled spaces. And the body does this to allow very well digested particlesof proteins, carbohydrates and fats to get through to the circulatory system. These foodcomponents have to be broken down to the tiniest

What Are The Signs And Symptoms Of Leaky Gut Syndrome

Greetings. Eric Bakker, naturopath from NewZealand, author Candida Crusher. I've got a question here from a guy in the States.I'm not going to mention his name. He wanted to stay anonymous. He's asking me Eric, whatare the signs and symptoms of leaky gut syndromeé The signs and symptoms, there could be a tonof them. I've done a few tutorials on leaky gut, and I did one just before basically on howdo you know that you've got leaky guté What are some of the conditions that are obviouswith ité The most common signs and symptoms of leakygut syndrome are gas, bloating, diarrhea, constipation, IBS, irritable bowel syndrome. These are very common ones. There are tons

of them. You can get digestive discomfortwith leaky gut. And a common place to get it is anywhere around here where the smallintestine is. Anywhere around this region, it's centrally. The large intestine tendsto be more the perimeter and the small intestine tends to be more central. Anywhere central. This is why people with parasites tend to have more of a sensation around the umbilicalcord because that is really a central part of the small intestine. And parasites, inmy opinion, especially acute parasite infections, tend to favor the small intestine, particularlythe center of it, the ileum. But when you've got leaky gut, you could alsofeel sensations a little bit higher up. And

they can be here sometimes. You could almostthink you've got heartburn. Leaky gut doesn't usually radiate any pain toward the back likea gall bladder pain or pancreatic pain will. It tends to be more frontal. And it can besomething like bloating, gas, or having to undo your waistband after a meal. Generally, you're not going to get pains off to the side as I mentioned because that's generally morecolon or large intestine dysfunction. It will be a central kind of disturbance. For the lesser known complaints with leaky gut can be things like brain fog, itchy skin, sore joints, seasonal allergies, immune dysfunction, insomnia, there can be a whole raft of differentthings that signal leaky gut syndrome. Remember,

what we're doing with leaky gut is we're allowingundigested food particles to enter into the bloodstream or potentially Candida or celldebris or all sorts of rubbish that really should be digested properly and filtered throughthe microvilli. But they're bypassing the microvilli, getting in through the intracellularjunctions, and challenging immune system. When we challenge the immune system, therecould be a myriad of complaints that could be possible. Thyroid dysfunction, autoimmunedisease, diabetes, all sort of conditions can occur as a result long term. Leaky gutis something that you really want to fix up in the early stages rather than let it buildup over a 10, 20, or 30 year period when it

gets seriously bad.Imagine you've got a small amount of rot in a roof of a house. In fact, my house thatI'm living in now, this is the rebuilt section, but old house up the front here. I've gota 100year old cottage. We built this extension on. But when we put a whole new roof overthe lot, we found so much rot in the roof of the old house. It cost me a fortune toget all the new beams replaced. Had that been repaired a long, long time ago, maybe 30,40 or 50 years ago, it would have been quite cheap. But now, it was in the tens of thousandsof dollars to repair that damage. Because the damage just continued on and on. And ifthe damage would have continued on for many

more years, the whole roof would have hadto be replaced, all the timber at a huge cost. Now, your digestive system is like that. Ifyou don't fix something up now when you've got a bit of gas or a bit of bloating or afew headaches or aches or pains, you can imagine what will happen if you leave that undisturbedfor 20, 30 or 40 years. Those are the functional complaints that end up becoming autoimmunediseases and even cancer. Lots of people laugh and joke when they pass gas, they fart, butwhat they don't realize is that this condition if it gets serious and long term, it's goingto be a major problem. And then there is no more laughing. Then there is crying. A stitchin time saves nine.

5 Scary Signs You Have Leaky Gut

Alright, my friend! Drew Canole. Thank you fortuning in to this week Saturday Strategy. Last week, we talked about the 23 thingsthat you and I can do to cleanse our body. You've seen amazing results with it. We got flooded with comments. Over 60,000 shares in two days. And that tells methat you love this type of information and it's actually impacting the peoplethat you care about. And that's why we do what we do at Fitlife.tv. At the end ofthis tutorial, I'm gonna be picking a winner of the juicer. But this week, we'retalking about the 11 things that I eat on a regular basis to transform my gut health. I'm also gonna tell you what leaky gut

is and the foods that you should avoid atall costs when restoring not only your immune system but your gut. You see yourgut is responsible for 80% of your entire immune system. And I want you todo this exercise with me real quick. Come back over here. We're out here inbeautiful Coronado, so sunny California. I have to love this place. And I want youto do a visualization exercise with me. I love to go outside in nature just visualize. Ithink it's really important. So what I want you to do is imagine the perfectday when you were absolutely the happiest that you've ever been.

Who are you withé What were you doingéImagine it for a second. How did you feel in that state when you were the happiesté Nowwhat I want you to do is imagine that you only had five percent of the abilityto be happy on that day. You see, 95% of the neurotransmitters, in particular, serotonin, comes from your gut. And it comes to your brain, righté That's thathappy molecule that we all want. We want to feel those happiness, the mood that'sresponsible for putting you in that state. And when you don't have it, whenyou have these glasses on that limit you to 5% of the happiness that you canexperience,

it changes your whole reality. You see a lot ofpeople are living like this. Fiftyfive percent of the U.S. is experiencing leakygut right now or gut dysbiosis. And what that is is the failure to actuallyproper absorb your food, properly absorb your food. See, it's no longer you are what youeat, it's you are what you absorb. And I've talked to you about this before. So how dowe restore the guté What things can we cut out so that we know that our littlewhite blood cells, those little soldiers that you and I have in our bodies, thatare the first line of defense, can be strong, vibrant, and healthy. Let's talkabout it!

Alright, come on in! Have a seat with me. I gottasit on for this just because I've heard this recently while doing my research forthis week's Saturday Strategy, and I was disturbed. Then, I know you're gonna bethere with this. Know that at the end of this tutorial, you're gonna have more thanenough knowledge to go out and help impact people and help them heal theirguts. But this is, this is gonna change everything. So ninetyfive percent of thenation's corn is genetically modified, righté And one of the biggest sprays thatthey put on this genetically modified food contains a chemical that is an antibiotic. Antibiotics not only destroy the

bad bacteria in your gut but the goodbacteria. So here we have a population that's eating genetically modified food. It's destroying the good gut bacteria in the body. Nnow we talked about white bloodcells, righté So your white blood cells are always in your gut, they're restoringyour gut, your leaky gut. And your body's defense system has plummeted. Eightypercent of your immune system comes from your gut, so you don't even know, most thetime, that you're eating these genetically modified foods. They'reharming your body in such a way toward disease acne, skin issues, premature aging all of these is the stress being put on on
